Robin Kessler

Robin grew up on the gulf coast and moved to the Kansas City area in 1993. Robin always knew from a very young age that she would follow in her father’s footsteps in business management. However, it was her mother that convinced her to shadow an attorney her senior year in high school which sparked Robin’s interest in business law.

Robin went on to attend Johnson County Community College to complete her general courses with her focus on transferring to the University of Kansas to complete her bachelor’s degree in business administration. While attending college Robin was promoted quickly into retail management by the age of 21. She then spent the next 18 years in the retail business management industry with a small two-year stint on the wholesale side of the apparel business for a local swimsuit designer.

Once online shopping took over the shopping experiences in brick-and-mortar stores, Robin decided that the time had come for her to change her career. At that time little did Robin know that a small conversation with a friend would connect her to Don Whitney and Brent Kellenberger at W Law Group in Overland Park Kansas.

Robin joined W Law Group in December of 2018 and credits her experience in the retail industry working for both small businesses and large corporations for her ability to understand the needs of W Law Group’s clients and communicate well with them. Her interests in estate and business law along with her skillset in a support role to Don and Brent have helped Robin achieve her original career goal.

Robin enjoys traveling back to the gulf coast regularly with her husband and their three teenagers. She considers herself a Midwesterner who cannot seem to get the sand out of her shoes. Robin is a passionate supporter and mentor to women battling cancer, and she regularly volunteers with her kids to support her community and local charities.
